Sayaka Tomioka ist Japanisch konzert Pianistin und sie gebort in der  Kanagawa Japan.

Anschließend studierte sie an der Kindermusikschule des Toho Gakuen, an der Toho High School of Music und schloss ihr Studium im Fach Klavier an der Toho Gakuen School of Music ab. Bereits während ihres Studiums gewann sie zahlreiche Preise bei Wettbewerben und Auditions im In- und Ausland.

Nach ihrem Abschluss am Toho Gakuen ging sie 2008 nach Österreich und wurde als Jahrgangsbeste in den Konzertfach-Studiengang der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien aufgenommen, wo sie in der Klasse des verstorbenen Noel Flores studierte. 2010 schloss sie das Studium mit Auszeichnung ab und kehrte nach Japan zurück. Dort setzte sie ihre Studien bei Ray Eguchi im Sonderlehrgang der Musik der Tokyo University of the Arts fort. Danach arbeitete sie mit dem Bösendorfer-Artist Giuseppe Mariotti sowie mit der international renommierten Pianistin Ryoko Fukazawa zusammen.

Seit 2012 tritt sie regelmäßig mit professionellen Orchestern auf und gibt Solo-Recitals in bedeutenden japanischen Konzertsälen wie der Kioi -Hall und der Yamaha-Hall. Weitere Auftritte führten sie u. a. in die Tokyo Bunka Kaikan und die Opera City. In Österreich war sie sowohl im Fernsehen als auch im Radio des ÖRF zu erleben, wobei sie sich insbesondere auf Werke mit Bezug zu Wien konzentrierte. Ihre Tätigkeiten umfassen außerdem die Ausbildung junger Musiker, öffentliche Meisterkurse, Medienauftritte und Jurytätigkeiten bei Wettbewerben.

Im Jahr 2021 erhielt sie von Bösendorfer in Österreich den Titel Bösendorfer Artist. 2023 gab sie ein Recital im Bösendorfer-Salon des Wiener Musikvereins, das vom Publikum vor Ort mit höchstem Lob aufgenommen wurde. Im Jahr 2025 wird sie ihre erste CD mit Werken von Mozart, Beethoven und Brahms veröffentlichen.

Sayaka Tomioka is a Japanese concert pianist and she was born in Kanagawa Japan.

She later studied at Toho Gakuen’s Music School for Children, Toho Gakuen High School of Music, and graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music with a degree in piano. From her student years, she received numerous prizes at competitions and auditions both in Japan and abroad.

After graduating from Toho Gakuen, she moved to Austria in 2008 and entered the performance course at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna at the top of her class, studying with the late Noel Flores. In 2010, she completed the course with highest honors and returned to Japan. After her return, she studied with Ray Eguchi at Tokyo University of the Arts. Following her studies there, she worked with Giuseppe Mariotti, a Bösendorfer Artist, and internationally acclaimed pianist Ryoko Fukasawa.

Since 2012, she has performed piano concertos with professional orchestras, and given regular solo recitals at major venues in Japan such as Kioi–Hall and Yamaha–Hall, as well as appearances at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and Opera City. In Austria, she appeared on national television and radio broadcasts (ÖRF), focusing her repertoire on works connected to Vienna. Her activities span teaching, public masterclasses, media appearances, and serving as a jury member for competitions.

In 2021, she was honored with the title of Bösendorfer Artist by Bösendorfer in Austria. In 2023, she gave a recital at the Bösendorfer Salon of the Musikverein in Vienna, which was met with high acclaim from the local audience. In 2025, she will release her debut CD featuring works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms.
